ST CROIX — With a seasonally developed menu and evolving craft cocktails, a new dining experience on St. Croix highlights the best of what the island has to offer. Estera St. Croix in Pan Am Pavilion opened its doors in November 2023 in a charming, rustic location complete with an open kitchen concept, Danish brick walls, and mahogany furnishings.
Estera St. Croix’s menu offers a series of starts, mains, and desserts that change regularly based on what’s in season. Guests can expect an option for risotto, orzotto, and salads to start, alongside a soup of the day or a crudo made with the local catch of the day. Pork belly, tempura lobster, and housemade butternut squash ravioli are a few items that have been meticulously prepared in their open kitchen. The short rib main is one dish that seems to remain a menu staple regardless of the season. Korean barbecue short rib is paired with house-fermented kimchi fried rice and seasonal vegetables. It is a crowd-pleaser and one of the restaurant’s best sellers. For dessert, guests can anticipate St. Croix’s wellknown flavors like mango, lemongrass, and passion fruit infused in rum cake, gelato, panna cotta, and other delightful desserts that are sure to end your meal on a high note. Their handpicked wine selection perfectly complements the variety of dishes on the menu. Thanks to their full bar, specialty cocktails are made with fresh, local ingredients and the finest spirits. What’s even better is that almost all of Estera’s specialty cocktails can be made into a mocktail for those who want the flavor without the alcohol.
Their newest offering, Estera St. Croix Wine Club, features a four-course prix fixe menu paired with fine wines. For $85 per person, guests can enjoy a brilliant evening of exquisite wines and delectable food pairings. The restaurant recently announced that they will serve brunch on Sundays. Tres leches French toast, breakfast tacos, and classic brunch dishes will be available for pairing with your choice of mimosa, bloody mary, or any other breakfast cocktail you can imagine. Seating is limited and reservations are required for wine club and brunch; be sure to call ahead to reserve seating.
