ST THOMAS — Experience the power of scent and light with one of St. Thomas’s newest businesses. Serenity Glow Candle Company is your go-to stop for relaxation, serenity, and inspiration. Founder Jessica Edwards launched the company in February 2021 after her soul-searching journey led her to the wonderful world of candle making. Fascinated by the process of pouring melted wax and creating signature scents, Edwards created this home fragrance and lifestyle brand that provided a sense of self-fulfillment, purpose, and hope.
“The name Serenity Glow is inspired by the relaxation and serenity you feel from the glow of each candle you burn,” said Edwards. Each 14 oz. two-wick hand-poured candle is made with 100% soy wax and given a name inspired by self-care, self-love, and positive affirmations. The Go Easy candle is a sweet and sultry fusion of mandarin, jasmine, and rich amber with undertones of sandalwood and musk, while the Press On livens up any space with its fruity fusion of strawberry, guava, passionfruit, and mango. With 18 scents to choose from, customers have their choice of alluring and healing scents made with long-lasting quality ingredients. The company also makes each of their scents available as wax melts for those seeking an alternative to the traditional candle without sacrificing the magic of Serenity Glow’s scents.
Serenity Glow Candle Company prides itself on detailed craftsmanship, timely production, affordable prices, and elite customer service while creating candles that encourage relaxation and a sense of calm. Last summer, Edwards opened her first brick-and-mortar establishment, aptly named Serenity Glow Candle Studio. The first of its kind on St. Thomas, this serene haven for candle making features their signature workshop where you get to custom design your own soy wax candles. Led by an experienced chandler each workshop includes an overview of the candle-making process, custom fragrances, and a design for your signature 8 oz. vessel.
Head to Tutu Park Mall and visit the studio in Suite 102A to experience Serenity Glow Candle Company firsthand. For more information about the brand and their candle-making classes, visit their website at www.shopserenityglow.com.
