A recent post on Parasail Virgin Islands FaceBook page boasts , “Living a life worth sharing,” as the author recommends the activity. Parasail Virgin Islands is back in St. Croix waters Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays through February.

Parasail Virgin Islands describes the experience as, “the thrill of an Offshore Powerboat ride, Parachuting, Ballooning and Gliding all in one ‘Action Packed Adventure…'” What a unique, birds-eye perspective of our beautiful island and the Caribbean!

For those who aren’t sure about taking off and landing, Parasail Virgin Islands has a unique winch/parasail bench system actually launches and lands you on the boat. You have to request a “touch ‘n go” during your flight to even get your toes wet! Once up, you’ll enjoy spectacular views of land and sea from heights up to 350 feet. According to their FAQs, with just the right conditions, you can actually see the curvature of the Earth!

You can fly solo, double, or triple — or even just go along for the boat ride. Facebook photos show thrill-seekers of all ages. One photo even looks like three generations of a family! They also offer a local rate for Virgin Islanders.

Gift cards are available if there’s still someone on your shopping list who would enjoy soaring above the Christiansted Harbor. We love giving experiences as gifts, especially when they show off the beautiful island of St. Croix!
