In 2002, a group of St. Croix residents decided that St. Croix needed a Mardi Gras celebration. Krewe de Croix was born. Since then Krewe has grown to host several fun family-friendly events throughout the year, including Krewe de Barkus, a.k.a. Dog Parade.
Krewe de Barkus is on Saturday, January 20, 2018. Registration is at 1pm at Angry Nate’s on the Boardwalk in Christiansted and the Parade begins at 2pm on the Boardwalk.
Each year, Krewe de Croix has a theme and 2018’s theme is The Haunted Island. A few of the pooches at Coldwell Banker St. Croix Realty got together to make a spooky video in the spirit of this year’s Krewe de Barkus.
