We have been busy crafting mango salsas, salads, sorbets and cocktails – the island is still bursting at the seams with mangos and we are getting creative in the kitchen with the overflow of our juicy summer fruit! Honestly, sometimes it’s hard to keep up with the abundant supply, so our freezers are full of bright yellow as well!
Our August newsletter highlights how we use mangoes during our annual Mango Melee along with other exciting happenings on our little island paradise. Happenings include the groundbreaking of the new Paul E. Joseph Stadium in Frederiksted and the recent visit from archaeologist, Steve Lenik, who spoke at the NPS (National Park Service) lecture.
