Northside B
Northside B is home to many luxury waterfront and ocean-view properties, as well as condos. A scenic drive along the winding North Shore Road, which begins where Queen Quarter meets Northside B, will have you craning your neck to catch a glimpse of the incredible hillside homes. Beachfront condos are tucked away between the road and the white sandy beaches and turquoise blue waters. The North Shore is not quite as developed as other parts of the island, so there are plenty of vacant lots available to design and build your dream home on St. Croix. Northside B is distinguished as “NB” in addresses on MLS listings.
This area is made for the outdoor adventurer, with opportunities for hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, snorkeling, scuba diving, or beach lounging. Cane Bay is a popular beach destination and The Wall at Cane Bay is a world-famous dive spot. Each and every restaurant and beach shack along North Shore Road is worth a stop.
The highest point on St. Croix, Mt. Eagle, is located in Northside B and the rest of the terrain is lush hills and valleys. The road descending Mt. Eagle is called “The Beast” and was actually part of the cycling portion of the St. Croix half-ironman (going up!), which used to be a qualifier for the Hawaii Ironman. The Salt River Marina is another stop along the scenic road.
You may not always have cell service in Northside B, but the scenery will leave you forgetting about staying connected to the outside world.
