Waterfront Villa in Carden Beach – Luxury Vacation Rental on St. Croix’s East End
Wake up to the sound of waves against the rocks below and coffee on the patio, pool water still warm from yesterday’s sun. This single-level villa sits directly on a waterfront bluff in the gated Carden Beach community on St. Croix’s east end. Evenings mean floating in the lap pool and watching the sun drop into the Caribbean Sea.
Three bedrooms and three full bathrooms sit on a single level, so there’s no navigating stairs anywhere on the property. King beds fill the primary and second bedroom, a queen in the third, comfortably sleeping six. The primary suite and second bedroom have ensuite bathrooms and direct access to the pool area. Air conditioning and ceiling fans keep every room comfortable, even on the hottest Caribbean afternoons.
The kitchen is fully equipped for the nights you’d rather cook than choose a restaurant: granite counters, stainless steel appliances, a full-size wine cooler, and everything from a blender to a grill for whoever wants to cook the day’s catch outside instead. Beach towels, bath towels, and a washer and dryer are all included, and fast WiFi means no one has to disconnect completely to enjoy the view.
The open-concept living room brings the outside in, with a full wall of sliding doors that opens completely onto the pool deck. Step outside and the villa keeps giving: a covered gallery seats eight for dinner under the stars, and a poolside pergola with a custom stone porthole makes even a quiet swim feel like the best part of the day. Carden Beach residents and guests share a community pool, tennis and pickleball court, and exercise room, all inside the gated neighborhood.
A rental car is worth having here. Christiansted is just 15 minutes away for dinner, shopping, or meeting a charter boat bound for Buck Island, and Point Udall, the easternmost point in the United States, is another 15-minute drive in the opposite direction.
Rates run $700 per night December through April, $600 per night in May, June, July, and November, and $500 per night August through October, with a four-night minimum stay. A $375 cleaning fee and $500 security deposit apply. No pets, no smoking.
This house is located in an HOA gated community. IDs of each adult will need to be provided along with a signature of HOA rental rules.
