I am originally from New York and also raised in Virginia, I took a leap of faith in 2023 and
moved to St. Croix without ever visiting before. There was no detailed plan and no familiar faces
waiting for me — just faith, excitement for something new, and a feeling deep inside that this
was where I was meant to be. Looking back, it was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

People often ask me, “Why St. Croix?” The truth is, I’ve always believed in the saying “home is
where the heart is.” Before I ever stepped my foot in the sand or even got off the plane, I felt a
connection to this island. In many ways, it feels like St. Croix chose me honestly. Today, I feel
