Her own path to St. Croix followed her mother, who has called the island home for nearly fifteen years, so Jillian understands both sides of an island move – settling in as a newcomer and building deep roots over time. She knows the island’s neighborhoods well, from Christiansted and Frederiksted to Judith’s Fancy, Cane Bay, Cotton Valley, and the estates across the North Shore and East End.

Away from work, she’s usually freediving or snorkeling, and makes a habit of pulling trash and marine debris out of the water while she’s out, a small routine aimed at keeping the reefs and marine life she loves intact. She beachcombs for Chaney along the shoreline, spends time with her two grown sons and a household of rescued island pets, and can point new residents toward Buck Island, Frederiksted Pier, Point Udall, and the Christiansted Boardwalk.
