Dear Friends and Fellow Virgin Islanders:
On behalf of the First Lady and my family, I want to wish you and everyone in the Virgin Islands the very best for the Holiday Season.
This is a time of celebration and a time of reflection; a time to gather together with family and friends and a time to reach out to those we do not yet know or know well. It is a time when we all pray for peace even as we give thanks to those who serve far from our shores in the cause of peace.
Let me extend to you and your family the very best wishes of my family. Together let us extend the spirit of this joyous Season throughout the coming New Year.
Whatever one’s faith, regardless of whether for you this is Christmas or Hanukkah or Kwanza, you know, as I know, that we can all do more to live in harmony and peace and prosperity, we can all do more for those less fortunate than ourselves. Let us resolve to do more in the New Year.
God Bless you and God Bless the Virgin Islands.
